Recently I was corralled into watching a movie with my daughter and was I in for a treat. She had me watching a Barbie movie. Oh, I thought is this going to drive me crazy. I was expecting Barbie drives Ken to the beach or something like that. Ken is the teenage neighbor who does several kind things as Barbie interacts with her friends. The movie evolved into the word of the day which was PACE. PACE stood for positive attitude changes everything. It turned out to be a very good video and totally unexpected by me. This was a new version of what I thought I knew about Barbie movies.
PACE certainly was an attitude adjustment word. Was this Barbie being Biblical or simply good human conduct or both? Proverbs 4:23 (TEV) advises “Be careful how you think, your life is shaped by your thoughts.” Does your thinking reflect PACE or positive attitude changes everything? Author Earl Nightingale said it this way: You become what you think about.
How is your attitude? It is a choice you make. Grumpy or kind? We all have days and things happening in our lives than can make us kind, happy or grumpy. How do we respond is a choice we make. If you consider yourself a Christian, do you respond as Christ would expect?
Does our attitude attract positive relationships with others? Relationships are driven in a variety of ways driven my questions we ask, the way we respond to questions, how we ask questions, comments we make, actions we take and a thousand of other ways. It can result or not always result in the way we intend. We can make a huge difference in our lives, but taking control is the most important after our relationship with Almighty God. Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened. Mt 7:7 KJV
