I spent over 30 years selling electrical equipment to industry. We often sold our products on the ability to increase production. Two questions were always asked especially by plant management: What does it cost and how long with it take to recover the equipment cost?

Plant management were seldom interested if the pay back was longer than a year. Their expectation was quick results.

It strikes me bringing people to Christ is often sold on getting to a long in the future someplace benefit of heaven, but the benefits of a Christian life are an immediate better life: the kind of results a plant manager demanded.
